Upward Trails is an outdoor wilderness organization, providing activities, all with-in an easy drive of the greater Portland, Oregon, USA, area.
All sports, have different equipment needs..please be prepared with the proper equipment, clothing changes, food, drinks, and, money if needed.
If you are uncertain what you need, call any guide. Bring ... $4.00 carpool
money, to give the driver, to help with expenses.....Thank you.
For those, who would like to receive a printed schedule, an annual donation of $5.00 to cover the cost of postage and printing would be appreciated.

Explore Overlook Park at the mouth of Eagle Creek in the Columbia Gorge.
A stone wall-lined trail as old as the Eagle Creek trail, but easily *overlooked*.
Then how about exploring the island at Cascade Locks?

- Cross-country ski Trillium Lake. You can walk the hill;
the rest is easy. Great views of Mt. Hood across this beautiful frozen lake. About a 4 mile loop.

Start the summer slow and easy but very pretty at BUTTE CREEK FALLS and a stop at scenic Scotts Mills Falls.
Butte Creek is 1 1/4 mile loop with three waterfalls..one to walk behind

Polk County Loop: Hike the trails of Ankeny Wildlife
Refuge, then cross the Willamette Ferry to see the Wings of Wonder Butterfly exhibit, walk the paths of Helmick State Park,
drive out to thundering Falls City Falls, then see the Japanese Gardens of Dallas City Park. Stay & visit the antique
stores. About 5 miles hiking.

Easy, level hiking, crossing old trestles along Swale Creek. Dogs on leash only. Bundle up against the wind.

One of the most popular trails in the Mt. Hood forest with a refreshing falls falling over a rocky hillside.

See the sites we often miss along the way: Hike down to the brink of Punchbowl Falls; take a side trip to double-drop
Skoonichuck Falls; then make a short scramble up to 100ft. Wyeast Falls hidden in a grotto. Easy 8 miles total. Exposure.

can climb to the summit of Lost Lake Butte for far-ranging views. 3.8 miles to summit & back; 1300ft. gain.

Afternoon riding in town with no traffic. The city blocks off the traffic for safe riding
on the streets of Portland choosing the more scenic areas. We could meet after church for these. The routes will be
posted.

Coastal Bird Hike to Clatsop Spit. Come see the breeding shore birds and sea ducks. Moderate hiking in the sand.
